Best Sport

What is the best sport on the planet and why? Is it that swimming, skiing, curling, American football, intelligent football, Basketball, that one sport with a stick and ball where everyone stands around in the field? Make your case.

    there can be so many arguments on what is the best sport in the world... different counties have their own ideal of what sport they find more amusing... like for instant soccer is the most popular sport in the world... soccer's television ratings are off the chart... it has been know that over 100,000 people attend a soccer game... and here's a fact, the soccer world cup is has higher ratings then 60 super bowls......
    my opinion is that football is the best sport... there are so many different tangibles that go into football...

    I think the best sport is fight. More UFC than boxing because boxing limits a fighter to only using punches. Fighting both incorporates being physically fit and having a sharp mind. Fights are not always decided by who is bigger or who is physically stronger. Other sports are described as being a fight between two opposing teams. Examples are football and soccer. Fighting is the mainframe for many sports. Deep down all competitions are fights they just have extra rules. I don't know why people still consider baseball to be a sport.

    It would have to be volleyball because people cant tackle you and the only real danger is getting hit in the face with the ball.

    it really just depends in the country you live in and what you were brought up watching or playing.
    i personally dont care for any sport.

    personally, i like baseball very much and i think tht its one of the best sports ever created. it may use a small ball but its still pretty hard. like many, its a game of strategy because you got to be on your toes and try to get the opposing team out. there can be up to 3 players out on the field trying to get to home base and have to watch out for them.

    the best sport in the world for me is football. there is just nothing better than an anything goes sport like that.

    if your going off what sport is most popular all over the world than id have to agree with gabe_5, soccer would seem to be the best sport just because many people like it, however i do not think there can actually be one sport named "best" solely because every sport has the same concept and gives the person practicing it exercise so i would have to say its a draw

    I think it definitely depends on what country you live in. My favorite sport is American football, I guess it has something to do with the influence that my country has on me.

    I think the best sport would be cheerleading.
    not everyone recognizes it as a sport but i DO.
    I teaches you team work and you have to have alot of team work to be a cheerleader. If you don't get along with someone cheerleading sure helps you with that.
